Fluid Power, Inc. was founded in 1956 by David E. Albrecht, and J. Reynold Moore, to assemble hydraulic power units for each of the founders who were selling fluid power components as independent manufacturer’s representatives.
Several years later, David E. Albrecht acquired all of the interest in Fluid Power, Inc. and included the manufacturer’s representative activities into the corporation.
As the fluid power industry matured, Fluid Power, Inc. also matured from a manufacturer’s representative organization to a full line fluid power distributorship. The company offers globally sourced products from premier manufacturers, as well as engineered and integrated custom fluid power solutions. The company now ships custom products throughout the Americas, as well as to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.
